Mulch Party
Please come out to the Ada History Center to help spread mulch—and joy! (Rain date is Thursday, May 9th) Bring a shovel, a wheelbarrow, and a friend, if possible. The more, the merrier.

Vintage Baseball Game
Come experience America's National pastime! Our second annual vintage game will utilize turn of the century rules, era uniforms, lemon peel balls, smacker bats & classic concessions. Teams representing both the Ada & Cascade communities will compete in a game at Ada Park.
This is a free community event and spectators are encouraged to bring your own lawn chair.
Native Plants presentation
Join us as Amy Heilman discusses the importance of including native plants in the home garden to attract pollinators and birds and for creating habitat, specific species she recommends for varying site conditions, and sources for obtaining plants. She will touch upon the planning process and design considerations, installation methods, and maintenance tips. A stroll in the Ada History Center’s new native garden will follow the lecture.
Lecture Presentation on Kreigh Collins
In conjunction with the new temporary exhibit, Wanderlust: Ada Artist Kreigh Collins, Collins’s son and grandson dive into the life of the extraordinary artist.

Bos Family History: Growing in Cascade Since 1913
Join Cascade and Ada Historical Societies for a fascinating look at a local family’s history. Bill Bos, Jr. shares over a century of family history including the growth of the popular William Bos Greenhouse and Farms.
After the presentation, the 1880 chapel will be open for tours. A reception will follow at the Cascade Charter Township Museum, sharing exhibits about Cascade's past with a new exhibit about the history of the Thornapple River.

Open Hours Resume
The museum re-opens after being closed to visitation in January and February.
Regular hours are Fridays & Saturdays, 1-4pm.

Santa Parade & Decorate Cookies
Ada’s Santa Parade begins at 11am and there will be cookies and hot chocolate in the History Center barn.
Tinsel, Treats, & Trolleys
Stop by the History Center for a visit with Mrs. Claus as part of the village-wide holiday open house. Create vintage holiday cards with your little elves. Visit the holiday wreath sale in the barn.
Window Competition
Vote for us! FHC student Jake has created a festive design on the museum windows, inspired by Ada’s historic depot. Stop by the museum to check it out, to scan the QR code & vote.

Ada Village Fall Festival
