Located at the Ada History Center, the Averill Historical Museum operates in an 1870s farmhouse and barn owned by Ada Township. The museum opened in 1999.

Admission is free of charge; donations accepted.

The museum features permanent exhibits on Ada history and a temporary exhibit space that changes annually. The facility also includes a gift shop, community meeting room, restrooms, and collections storage space for the community’s treasures.

From traditional celebrations and patriotic memorabilia to modern innovations and community service, each generation finds new meaning in what it means to be American.
